This trailblazing reimagining of The Wizard of Oz revolutionized Broadway, blending an iconic score of soul, gospel, rock, and '70s funk with Dorothy’s powerful journey to find her place in a modern world.

Under the visionary direction of Schele Williams (The Notebook, Disney’s Aida revival) and choreography by JaQuel Knight (Beyoncé’s “Single Ladies,” Black Is King), the production features fresh material by Tony- and Emmy-nominated writer Amber Ruffin (The Amber Ruffin Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers).
