Initially, Bill sourced items from sales racks, which Melody then sold locally. Over time, UAL has expanded to 10 locations across the southern United States, including an online store. Despite its growth, UAL has maintained a reputation as a "Best Kept Secret," offering customers a curated selection of designer apparel and accessories at significant discounts. ​

UAL specializes in providing deep discounts, ranging from 70% to 90% off retail prices, on a unique variety of designer apparel and accessories for both men and women. As liquidators, their inventory is often limited, with many items available in single quantities, making each piece a rare find.
