San Francisco Mercantile is a boutique gift shop located at 1698 Haight Street in San Francisco, California. The store specializes in offering a diverse range of products that celebrate the vibrant and unique culture of California, all designed by local artists and makers. Their product selection includes apparel, drinkware, pins, keychains, magnets, stickers, plush items, ornaments, and various gifts that reflect the state's rich heritage and artistic talent. ​

In addition to their flagship store, San Francisco Mercantile has collaborated with local communities to establish two neighborhood visitor centers: Welcome Haight & Ashbury and Welcome Castro. Welcome Haight & Ashbury serves as a "Welcome Center and Counterculture Museum Shop," celebrating the history of the Haight-Ashbury district. Welcome Castro offers a retail experience that honors the LGBTQ history and culture of the Castro neighborhood. Both centers provide curated merchandise and information about their respective communities, aiming to enhance visitors' experiences and support local artists.
